Sookmyung Women’s University Museum, as an integrated museum, introduces a diverse range of cultures that encompasses tradition and modern to the general public through a wide range of permanent, planned and special exhibitions every year.

Moreover, the Museum is introducing diverse cultures of Korea domestically and in overseas through alliance and planned exhibition with foreign embassies and artists. In addition, the Youth Education Center of the Museum is leading the museum education by developing and implementing a wide range of educational programs.

Sookmyung Women’s University Museum shall continually put efforts to renew ourselves as an international museum that passes on the cultural heritages of Korea to the next generation and introduce not only the cultures of Korea but of the diverse range of cultures of the world in Korea through systematic management and preservation of the collections of the Museum. In addition, the Museum shall put utmost efforts to enable the visitors to use the Museum more conveniently and experience the diversity of the cultures in Korea and overseas.
