Gyeongsang National University Museum

 

Gyeongsang National University Museum was established with the goals of surveying and researching the history, culture, arts and folklores of Korea, imbue the cultural awareness of the constituent members of the university and local residents as well as to make contributions towards the promotion of the university culture.

 

In accordance with such goals, the Museum has executed more than 90 indices and excavation surveys since opening in 1984. On the basis of these efforts, we are researching the prehistoric and ancient cultures of the western Gyeongnam region with the outcomes of the researches publicly exhibited in our efforts to share them with the local residents and visitors.

 

Gyeongsang National University Museum will continue to put our utmost efforts to preserve the history and cultures of Korea, and to share the outcomes with the people of Korea as well as the world.
