Welcome to the official website of Kyungpook National University Museum. Our Museum has been playing the role as the central cultural facility in the region of Daegu and Gyeongbuk through collecting, preserving, exhibiting and researching relics since the opening in 1959.

Recently, the Museum is putting efforts towards the provision of information on our cultures to the local community residents, better understanding of the lives and experiences of each of the eras and acquiring broader cognition on different cultures and customs through the fortification of the social education and exhibition functions including cultural lectures, exploratory visits to cultural remains and special exhibitions, etc.

Visitors to the website can download various data including photographs of archaeological materials, and historical and folk relics of the Museum holds along with detailed explanations as well as details of academic survey and researches, etc. Moreover, detailed guidance on various events such as personal participation in special exhibitions and viewing of the exhibition halls as well as cultural lectures and exploratory visits to cultural heritages are provided.
