Boryeong Coal Museum is the only public museum in the region of Boryeong, a tourism and cultural city overflowing with dreams and romanticism in the midst of clean ocean and green environment. It was opened on May 18, 1995 as the first coal museum in Korea.

Moreover, we are constantly striving to provide better cultural services to visitors by providing a variety of experience spaces tailored to the eye level of viewers in connection with exhibition materials along with the main functions of the museum including exhibition, collection, preservation and researches of various historical materials.
